CBD Iced Tea

Still in the same line as our previous article: CBD cannabidiol drinks, why and how to prepare them? Today we offer you different CBD Iced Tea recipes to make at home!

Ideal for a dose of CBD, and staying hydrated in these recurring heatwaves.

CBD Iced Tea with Lemon

Preparation time: 5 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes | Cooling: 1h30 minutes | Servings: 6 large glasses

Lemon CBD Iced Tea Ingredients:

  • 8 to 9 cups of water
  • 6 grams of decarboxylated CBD flower (ideally Lemon )
  • 4-5 lemon tea bags
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar (depending on desired sugar level)
  • ½ spoon of lemon zest
  • 3 ripe lemons.

Preparation :

  1. Use the 6 grams of cannabidiol and mix them in a grinder so you can separate them until they reach a fine powder consistency.
  2. Empty the crushed bud into a small plate and separate into equal amounts for the number of tea bags you are using: 4 or 5.
  3. Make a small opening in the top of each tea bag.
  4. Place a saucepan on the stove and add 8 cups of water before turning heat to medium.
  5. Insert the CBD flower mixes inside your tea bags .
  6. Seal the opening with small rubber bands designed to resist heat.
  7. When the water comes to a boil, add the tea bags to the mixture, then lower the heat and simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, in order to extract as many CBD molecules as possible.
  8. Remove the tea bags, add the sugar and lemon zest to the mixture, then leave to cool off the heat for 5 minutes.
  9. Pour the iced tea into a large pitcher with ½ cup of ice, then let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 1.5 hours before serving.
  10. Add the 3 lemons, cut into slices beforehand.

 

Strawberry CBD Iced Tea

Strawberry CBD Iced Tea Ingredients:

  • 8 to 9 cups of water
  • 6 grams of decarboxylated CBD flower (ideally Strawberry )
  • 4-5 strawberry tea bags
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar (depending on desired sugar level)
  • ½ spoon of lemon zest
  • ripe strawberries.
  • spearmint leaves.

Preparation :

As you will have understood, the recipe is super easy and you can multiply it endlessly. For example, for a CBD Blueberry Iced Tea with blueberries, replace the flower with Bluecheese for example, and replace the strawberries with blueberries and raspberries or even redcurrants, for a citric iced tea.
