We are pleased to inform you that on Monday, June 12, a press release titled “Beyond Cannabis” will be issued to clarify the results of a recent international online conference on HHC in the Czech Republic. This conference brought together industry experts, including lawyers, doctors, researchers and economists.
Key findings highlighted that the ban would (1) create a class of criminals among otherwise law-abiding citizens and entrepreneurs, (2) jeopardize product safety by pushing them onto the black market, (3) would increase access to cannabinoids for minors and (4) limit publicly available information on harm reduction strategies. Also among the highlights are the regulatory projects proposed by the National Drug Policy Coordinator, which ensure safe and responsible regulation of cannabinoids such as HHC . This is an event not to be missed!
Together with the Institute for Rational Dependency Policies, we have ensured that the voice of the Czech hemp industry is heard, while overriding the false cries of competitors and regulators who seek to hinder the growth of our sector. For more information on cannabinoid regulation in the EU and to view this press release, please visit the Institute for Rational Dependency Policy .
The Institute for Rational Dependency Policies is a multidisciplinary association composed of independent and renowned experts who study the issue of dependency in all its aspects (public and individual health, legislation and other legal effects, security issues, economics and modeling market, tax issues, effects on the state budget, education and prevention, and social, sociological and political issues).
Objectives of the Institute:
This institute seeks to influence public opinion and shape political positions; to influence strategic policy and expertise documents, including correctly drafting legislation; and to influence important industries to adopt strong ethical standards. The Institute aims to influence both Czech and international policies.
In the international context, the Institute wishes to focus mainly on the European Commission and the European Parliament, but it is also active within the Pompidou Group, the UN, large international NGOs and civil society in general.
The Institute will publish specialized independent analyzes and studies, prepare independent proposals for legislators, or propose specific policies and strategically oriented plans for other preventive measures. It will also organize round tables and specialist seminars which will be organized by legislative bodies, the European Commission, the UN, as well as NGOs. Through partner institutions and individual experts (specialized institutions, NGOs, Chamber of Commerce and other specialized and policy think tanks and respected individuals from all relevant fields), the group will influence the creation of strategic documents at all policy levels and in the field in general.
“The Institute will also create a transparent platform for communication between the “addictive” fields, governmental and intra-governmental institutions, and non-governmental and academic sectors. This platform will create a space that should eliminate the day for lobbying pressures that would only favor certain particular interests that often border on corruption on the one hand, and on the other hand administrative incompetence to find adequate and functional tools to minimize risks and damages and the effects they cause. »
