User review: Arthur Jasinski tests CBD products for ADHD

Thank you to Arthur for testing our products and their effects on ADHD. Here is his feedback:

Lord Of CBD sent me several products to test and see if CBD has any noticeable effects on my ADHD. I've been able to try them over the past five months, so I can now give you some feedback. The information I'll share in the first part of this article will be official information on the effects of CBD on ADHD, and then I'll share my own experience with the products I've tested in the second part.

Who am I, and why did I want to try CBD?

My name is Arthur Jasinski, and I created the company "L'éveil du TDAH" (The Awakening of ADHD) to help and support people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), like myself, to better manage their condition on a daily basis. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects 5.9% of children and 2.5% of adults. People with ADHD may have difficulty concentrating on a task for an extended period, following instructions, completing tasks, and organizing themselves. They may also be impulsive and restless, and have trouble sitting still. The causes of ADHD are a combination of genetic and environmental factors. ADHD can be treated with medication, behavioral therapies, and compensatory strategies.

I've heard a lot about CBD, and several people who follow "ADHD Awakening" have asked me what I think about using CBD for ADHD. So I tried it, and I'm going to share my experience with you.

Studies on CBD and ADHD: what do the results say?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in cannabis that has been shown to have potential medicinal properties in the treatment of numerous health conditions, including ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). However, it should be noted that studies on the effects of CBD on ADHD are still limited, and further research is needed to better understand this potential use of CBD.

There have been some preliminary studies examining the use of CBD to treat ADHD in humans and animals. For example, a study published in 2020 examined the effect of CBD on rats with ADHD and found that CBD had positive effects on the hyperactivity and short-term memory deficits associated with ADHD. However, this study was small, and further research is needed to confirm these findings.

There have also been some studies on the use of CBD to treat ADHD in humans. For example, a 2020 study examined the effect of CBD on ADHD symptoms in 10 adults with ADHD. The results showed that CBD could reduce symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity associated with ADHD, but had no effect on attention deficits. However, this was a small study, and further research is needed to confirm these findings.

My experience with CBD for managing ADHD symptoms

The Lord of CBD sent me herbal teas, oils, and other products that I tested. Personally, I didn't feel that CBD had a direct impact on my ADHD symptoms. However, as someone who tends to be quite anxious, I did experience some benefits in that regard. I felt more relaxed when using these products, which allowed me to be less caught up in my thoughts and therefore probably less distracted by them.

Next, I noticed an impact on my sleep. My ADHD (and probably my anxiety) tends to make me think constantly. This mental hyperactivity tires me out a lot and can prevent me from falling asleep. Using CBD in the evening has helped me see improvements in this regard.

As for the sensations I experienced, there were several. First, I felt more relaxed and serene, without the product making me drowsy. The CBD didn't alter my normal functioning, which was one of my concerns when I wanted to try CBD products.

CBD and ADHD: what are the next challenges to overcome?

In summary, there is preliminary evidence that CBD may have positive effects on some ADHD symptoms, but further research is needed to better understand this potential use of CBD.

For me, the CBD products I've tried haven't had a direct impact on my ADHD symptoms. However, I feel they've helped me fall asleep more easily and manage my thoughts better, which has had a positive impact on my well-being .

It is important to note that CBD is not a panacea and does not replace treatments recommended by a doctor.
