Who can sell CBD?

Everybody ! There are no special steps to take to sell CBD in France. The profession does not require any particular training and you will not need to demonstrate any knowledge to be able to launch your activity. The only obligation is that you are registered with the RCS, with the CBD and if you opt for a physical store, you will have to buy a cash register to justify your sales to the tax administration, like all other stores.

What legal status to become a CBD reseller?

There is no ideal status, it all depends on your entrepreneur profile!

However, some legal statuses remain more common than others:

Self-employed/Micro-enterprise: the simplest status, but the ceilings are low for a profitable sector like the sale of CBD.

SARL: it limits the liability of the partners, can be created by a single partner (single-member SARL or EURL) and offers the possibility of opening its capital. .

SAS : more expensive to create and operate, the Simplified Joint Stock Company is also more flexible, with limited risks and the possibility for managers to receive dividends not subject to social security contributions.
